Simple Poll
Let’s face it, Team Arena’s been in popular demand since it was partially removed from the game. I say “partially,” because it still exists limitedly in the form of successful Random Arena syncs, which aren’t supposed to occur in light of a past update. The next two pvp formats even remotely close to TA are Alliance Battles and Codex, an arena that’s arguably the least played in the game with exception to double reward weekends. Alliance Battles isn’t all that glamorous either, considering that it takes 3 teams of 4 on each of the two opposing sides for a single match. For the mathematically challenged, that’s 24 people split between two sides, or an assemblage of 12 people on each side. Now don’t get me wrong, but 24 people is a lot to get together just to play a single match in a dying game. This is in comparison to TA, which only requires a total of eight players for a match. With that said, I’d like each of you to participate in this poll regarding your thoughts on TA.

Why do these threads keep popping up? TA was nearly as dead as codex and just as boring.

I agree. If TA is brought back, hopefully the competitive PvPers will move to it, leaving RA for us casual PvPers.
I miss the days when I could go do RA with whatever build I wanted to run
There's no reason to delete CA though.

TA wasn't dead, it was just that the casual players stopped playing once the Glad title was introduced because of the rank discrimination. If you had a glad title or friends who are good at PvP, TA was the most fun to be had in GW outside of GvG.
Codex, to me, always was a really dumb idea, even back when there were threads in Sardelac popping up from casuals and PvEers to bring in a "sealed deck" arena. It was supposed to eliminate rank discrimination and get rid of FotM and meta builds, but really all it made was an arena that no one wanted to play. At least TA always had 2-3 districts of people waiting to play.
Another side effect of Codex being so bad and TA being gone is the constant leaving you see in RA. Back when TA existed, if you had 2 assassins and 2 eles, you'd play it out, because maybe you had enough damage to get to 5 wins and get a point. Now, if you don't have a perfectly optimal team, you leave instantly because the syncers leave no chance for you to get a glad point.

Nope.
Because of the random nature of teams forming in RA, the RA format itself will feed more of the wins needed for streaks. While extremely well organized teams will be able to get more points in TA, the vast majority of players will not be able to get glad points at all. As all teams come in on equal footing in TA, the win 5 in a row requirement is a terrible requirement for glad points.
